To celebrate our 50th year, the Delaware Credit Union League will be hosting the 2008 Annual Meeting and Trade Show at the luxurious Dover Downs Hotel and Casino on April 4-6. This year’s theme is “Putting You in the Winner’s Circle,” and the conference will end with Dover Down’s horse racing.
We’ll rock Saturday night away with “The Fabulous Hubcaps.” With an extensive repertoire of do-wop group harmony, classic rock and roll, Rock-A-Billy, Motown, and R & B music, The Fabulous Hubcaps are heralded as one of the best bands in the country. |
This new venue promises to bring more education, more entertainment, more exhibits, and more excitement. To accommodate all these changes, the meeting schedule has also changed. Information-packed education sessions and our traditional trade show will be held this year on Saturday. The Saturday night dinner-dance will feature “The Fabulous Hubcaps.” The annual business meeting will be held on Sunday morning, and the keynote speaker will be Mark Lynch from Australia, where credit unions lost the battle to preserve their tax-exempt status. The festivities will conclude with dinner and harness racing on Sunday evening.
