CREDIT UNION SPIRIT SHINES DURING RECENT HOLIDAY SEASON (Continued)

  • For the holidays, Louviers FCU sponsored five families through the Adopt-a-Family organization; sponsored several youth classes for the December 13 holiday celebration at the Latin American Community Center where children and their families were presented with a dinner and presents for each child; and participated in the Miracle Tree for Children’s Miracle Network, a project to raise money to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
  
  • The various branches of Sussex County FCU were involved in different projects in support of their local communities. The Seaford office and the Milford branch each adopted a family of four (mother and three children) through the Families in Transition program. The Seaford office also adopted three other families. The Millsboro office joined in with the Longneck community and decorated a cottage and donated canned goods for the “Caroling on Longneck” event.
