The Delaware Credit Union League’s 51st Annual Meeting & Trade Show
“Best in Show” Winners

The “Best in Show - Bristol Stomp,” judged at the DCUL’s dinner-dance by The Dovells, whose hit “The Bristol Stomp” sold over 1 million copies in the 60’s, was awarded to Nancy Wujcik of First State Refinery FCU (left) and Ardythe Campbell of Delaware Alliance FCU (right). League executive vice president, Jane Bailey (center) displays their trophy.

The “Best in Show – Singing Group” was awarded to Rich Stichter, Cindy Baer, Tracey Bray, Anita Hatcher and Howard "Jake" Grandison of ICI America FCU at the sing-along luncheon. The group won for their performance of the Temptations hit, “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg.”

Boots, the mountain cur, edged out 23 other contestants to win the “Cutest Canine Contest.” Boots was nominated by Sharon Schaeffer, CEO of Delaware First FCU. Proceeds from the contest ($1400) were donated to PAWS for People™. PAWS for People™ is a non-profit organization whose mission is to lovingly provide elders, children, and folks with disabilities individualized, therapeutic visits with a gentle, affectionate pet.
